Living in Luxury Apartments at Economy Prices

If you’re paying rent that’s way over your head and you’re not in the least bit happy with what you’re getting for your hard-earned cash, why not take a moment to explore your options?

Sometimes, the grass IS greener on the other side (depending on what you’re looking for).

Unless you’re obligated to stay in the same town, i.e., you are a caretaker for a loved one nearby, it never hurts to see what’s beyond the horizon.

Cheaper rents and luxury amenities can be had, with a little research. “I’m not moving to a small town,” you might be thinking. “I like being near the center of town.” Not a problem. In fact, luxury amenities at economy prices tend to center around hubs of cities—or, at the very least, around urban communities.

“Cool!” you respond, “I’m willing to settle for anything decent that’s less than $1,000 a month. To save money, I’ll live without an a/c or even a washer/dryer as long as I’m close to my commute – and they take my pooch and kitty.”

No need to go there. Pickings are not that slim. In fact, draw up your dream list of what you’d like and we’ll go from there.

What’s your idea of a luxury facility? An exercise or workout room? Laundry and Dryer on site? Central Air? A swimming pool for tenants and their visitors? It’s yours.

And how about all of this for much less than $1,000 a month?

Consider the city of Tulsa in the wide-open state of Oklahoma. Remember, you can live ANYWHERE, and some cities – like Tulsa – are especially eager to attract residents.

Oklahoma, you’re thinking? Isn’t that a little rustic?

Parts of it are, but, as is the case with most southwest central states, not all of the Sooner State is mountain ranges and prairie land. For instance, Tulsa’s luxury Estancia Center, complete with ornate water-spouting statue and fountain on the property, is offering a snazzy one-bedroom with one bathroom in a pet-friendly locale.

Their rent specials start at $820.00. Their website offers a/c, dishwashers, new/renovated interiors and facilities, a fitness center, a fireplace, a balcony, vaulted ceilings, and over-sized closets.

Oh, and did we mention the stainless steel appliances? You can Google “Estancia, Tulsa” for more information.

Even lower rent can be had in the region (try $489 for a “Standard” one bedroom with one bathroom.)

The “Regency Point” features a renovated interior – new appliances, floors and walls; a/c; over-sized closets, a balcony, ceiling fans, and a community swimming pool. There’s a clubhouse and a business center, as well as a fitness center. Google “Regency Point” in Tulsa for a direct link.

Moving westward to Peoria, Arizona, luxury apartment living is available at Visions Serenity. Current rent specials start at $675 (for a studio) and features include a/c, hardwood flooring, high ceiling fans, a patio, a washer/dryer in each unit, a balcony with a view and a swimming pool with poolside lounges.

The apartment community hosts a clubhouse, a fitness center, a hot tub, controlled access, a business center – and free breakfast for residents Monday through Friday.

Crossing over to a state in the southeastern U.S., luxury living can be yours in Columbia, S.C. At the “Brook Pines”, a one bedroom-and-one-bathroom starts at $435.00. These rentals offer a patio AND a deck. Also some paid utilities, a/c, a balcony, on-site patrol, a swimming pool and window treatments. Google “Brook Pines” in the St. Andres vicinity of S.C.

Finally, if you’ve always wanted to make the Midwest your home, a few Kansas City, Kansas apartment sites offer luxury living at reasonable prices. Summers are very warm and winters are just what Santa Claus ordered, but KC has a lot to recommend it. For folks who are starting over after foreclosure, it’s been ranked #7 as Best Place to Start Anew. Rents, on the main, are cheaper than the national average, and luxury rentals are aplenty.

“The Parks Apartments” have rentals starting at $619, and their features include a/c, a state-of-the-art fitness center with sauna, 1 block to shopping and dining, a courtyard with BBQ grills, two sparkling saltwater pools, and some paid utilities.

In addition, they’re right next door to a farmer’s market.

It’s your choice! If you’re ready to pick up stakes and acquire a brand new lifestyle, a newly renovated, luxury-styled apartment at one of these sites might just be what you had in mind!

Remember: think positive!
