2. Let the apartment’s property manager know that ApartmentSearch sent you. If you find a place that you like on the site, tell the building’s property manager that you found the complex on before you sign the lease. After you sign your lease, log on to and let them know you’re moving into an apartment that you found on the site. ApartmentSearch does all the work from here. They’ll confirm your move-in with the property manager. Within two weeks, ApartmentSearch will send you the first of two rental rewards: a $100 gift certificate to use at any CORT store.

The photos in this post were taken at the Austin, Texas showroom –- these are items that were on the showroom floor when we visited in August 2007. We were impressed with the variety of items you could easily “buy” under or slightly above the $100 price range.

Got my check card the other day. Took a while, but yeah it’s worth it. No reason not to do it really.

Word to the wise… make sure you write down on your application or bring the guest card. Don’t write down just Internet. That can cause some delays and I almost didn’t get it.

among other things, apartment ratings is suppose to be a reference of experiences…

i don’t know how seriously i can take this site with reviews that indicate that staffers make up their own reviews, people claiming that there are ghosts in their apartments, then what’s funnier yet are giant cockroaches that people turn into pets…..

fights among staffers of an apartment and renters, managers who post replies that are not only illedgeable but emotionally stressed with slanderous and offensive content…
it is amazing, i mean if i see reviews that are too silly to believe, hearing about staffers forging reviews and managers, owners who come in replying to reviews in a child like manner… sure makes it hard to search effectively.

i guess the best way is to work hard, word of mouth and come in when one has the free time and check things out to the best of their ability.

what did you expect? come on it’s a site that’s over used and under managed.

don’t rely on them, have you seen other apartment sites? they’re all the same…
