2011 College Town Renter Satisfaction Rankings

We have just released our 2nd annual rankings of renter satisfaction for the 100 largest college towns and college cities in the country.

Topping this year’s list is Berkeley, Calif., home to the University of California-Berkeley, the oldest university in the UC system.  Berkeley beat out its neighbor, and last year’s winner, Davis, California. See the full list below:

Overall satisfaction was ranked using thousands of user submitted scores for hundreds of apartment complexes located in cities and towns home to the 100 largest four-year institutions in the United States (http://nces.ed.gov/IPEDS/) during the previous year. Six cities (Lynchburg, Iowa City, La Jolla, Dekalb, Troy, Adelphi) were excluded from the rankings because they didn’t receive reviews from at least 10 apartment complexes.
