Tenant Resource Center
TRC provides counseling for students and landlords interested in learning more about their rental rights and responsibilities. TRC also runs the Housing Mediation Service, which provides free mediation at small claims court for eviction cases and low-cost mediation for tenants, landlords, roommates and neighbors. The Housing Help Desk is TRC's satellite office at the Dane County Job Center, 1819 Aberg Ave., and provides in-depth information on housing searches, subsidized housing, rental rights and more. The Housing Help Desk also produces a weekly list of vacant rental units.
