I also forgot to add watch out for old apartment buildings that have been "conversioned" into condos! This is a real big time scam that should be looked into! I know of a few in my area that have done this and are considering it. But the major issue is the conditions of the buildings, contracts and how the owners attend to these buildings in the first place that make it warrented to investigate these so called "improvements".

Many old apartments are closer to being condemned and are so delapidated that the mere fact or ideal of turning it into a condo is inhumane!

Watch out for converted apartments. Apartments that are way small that have not changed in size but portions of the apartment have been converted into rooms just to make it look bigger and make the rent higher.

I know of studio and effencencies that have been converted into one bedroomers and the rent converted also!

Same goes for 1 bedroomers with once much closet space then closets brought together and converted into another room. Thus! This has now been converted into a 2 bedroomer and the rent hiked by $1000!

2 bedroomers turned into 3 bedroomers and the rent hiked up to as much as $2k!!!

That, my friends I'm very sorry to say is a SCAM!

If you've seen what I have seen over the years pertaining to this 'complexity' you will understand it's more than just a trap it should be considered unlawful to some extent!

Thanks for listening.
