my roommate decided to move

my roommate decided to move out the the very end of her termination... aka 11:40 at night. but right before she left she decided to vandalize her bedroom, by cutting the blinds with a box cutter, punching a dent in the wall and taking a can of cat food and rubbing it into the carpet and the walls... legally what can i do in order to make her pay for the damages so my new roommate can move in?
