DO NOT RENT APARTMENT FROM HUNTERS GLEN APARTMENTS AT 6400 INDEPENDENCE PKWY IN PLANO TX. There are all kinds of problems from mold and bad plumbing to having to look at a nasty swamp-like swimmng pool that you cant even swim in all year, oh wait afer the health dept closed the pools down, the pool was "ok" to swim in all of 1 month. They dont write down and properly take care of maintenance request so they can say you never complained, they ust write it on a sticky note in front of you so you think they care. My latest issue is they took 6 monthes to come fix my thermestate in apt. and claims I never told them, they just didnt put the request to fix it and now I am stuck with 3 $3-$400.0 power bills because the heat never went off it just kept running. I have a 4yr old and his room gets coldest in aptso i had to run it so he wouldnt get sick. Ive had my power turned off 2x b/c I cant afford it and had to throw away $200.00 worth of food out b/c i was out of town for funeral and came back to no power. After telling them Laura, the apt manager pretty much said b/c they didnt do their job by submitting my request to fix thermestate, there is no proof so I am S.O.L. and my power will be turned off again on March 24th b/c i acnt pay it and the tx heat is here, they dont care. Laura also saidshe would call me back the next day afte talking with her yesterday, she never called back HOW UNPROFRESHINAL IS THAT!!!!!!! and now they are doing an inspection of my apt to see what they an charge me for their lack of maintaining my apt because I complained. They said they do this to all tenants whose lease expires soon.....then why didnt they the last time I renewed? THATS IS PATHETIC!!!
