I have 2 dressers 28" tall and 72" long and a 28" bookcase. I put the dressers back to back and the bookcase at the foot and set up the bed on top.It works like a charm! If you get the dressers from an unfinished furniture store, they'll make sure that they're identical and will even remove or add feet if you need to adjust the height.
