Actually, I talked to my local sheriff about this very problem and it IS ILLEGAL. Even though it is in your house, if you are doing it in front of an open window where anyone and everyone can see you, there is no expectation of privacy and it is considered a public display, and therefore, illegal. Sorry, but that is the plain truth directly from the authorities.
