I work at an apartment complex and every year we have 2 garage sales in our parking lot. Our residents love it! we provide all the tables for them free of charge, we just require that they RSVP and if they don't show up then we have to charge them for the tables. It it always a hit. A couple years ago we went all out and got a food permit and served hot dogs and all the money we received we donated to the red cross for hurricane victims, It was a lot of work but well worth it. I would definitely recommend apartment managers and renters to consider having a community sale. its only march and people are already asking when we are having it this year! Great Idea!!!!
