I live in a hi-rise and hung a chair hammock from my balcony ceiling giving me a relaxing retreat and great view of the city in the Summer. It's very comfortable and even large enough to stretch out in. I got a handyman with a hammer drill to insert an eye hook into the ceiling. It is supposed to hold several hundred pounds (it's held someone weighing around 250lbs.) I added a clasp hook to the hammock hook so that I could easily take it down in bad weather. When I want a change I also lay out grass like floor tiles that click together like a puzzle and either pretend I have a golf course, or set up a folding table and folding chairs I have tucked away on the balcony for a meal outdoors.
