That's not necessarily true!

That's not necessarily true! If you are diligent and determined to be rid of them you can. I have done it with two apartments that I moved into that were infested. You use a combination of bug spray (Raid), boric acid, and a boric acid-peanut butter mixture. Place boric acid (in small amounts) in the corners of all rooms (where the walls and floor meet) and sweep it into the cracks. If you have carpet you must be more careful if you have small children and make sure you get in between the carpet and the wall. Then you take peanut butter (inexpensive brand) and mix 1 part boric acid to two parts peanut butter placing small dollops of it on pieces of foil or parchment paper, etc. And strategically place the peanut butter mixture around the house (where small children or pets cannot get to it but roaches can). For weeks after I was cleaning up dead roaches. For the longest time I didn't see any and occaisonally I would see one or two but I would catch them and kill them. Even if I didn't catch them the boric acid would. It gets on their bodies and they bring it back to their nests and transfer it to the others. As for the peanut butter mixture, they love it!
