When I was a child staying with my grandparents, I discovered that the big roaches can fly at night. I remember hearing the buzzing sound as soon as I turned off the lights. I was in bed already so I had to sleep with the lights on and even then I was afraid of them, especially going to the bathroom at night because they roaches in the bathroom all the time. Nothing really worked well getting rid of them but when I was able to live on my own I always had a cat and never saw roaches. Maybe she ate them all?
Also, my neighbor told me that when she stayed with her sister for a few days, she wanted to sleep on the floor in the living room because her daughter was sleeping on the couch and she likes sleeping on hard surfaces. Well, next day she claimed that a roach eat a part of her ear lobe, even showed it to people and said that she had to fight a roach trying to get inside her ear. I haven't seen a roach in years but I always try to live in brand new buildings. It seems like the old housing units are the ones that the roaches prefer. I don't know. I am praying that I don't have to see those disgusting little creeps ever again in my life.
