I just bought a Dustbuster to sweep up flea eggs in my apartment. Between fleas and roaches, I'm going to kill myself someday. Anyway, roaches feast on the cat food dish while me and the cat are away, the roaches play, they also feed on the water dish and the empty can of cat food.
One day, I instinctively grabbed my Dustbuster and sucked a live one in. It was a breeze. Now, I'm on the prowl constantly sucking them up everyday. But, I realized that unless you put some boric acid inside the dustbuster, they'll crawl out of it when you're emptying the canister. This may well be the answer for me! The only thing is, it's limited to the ones you can see, but I guess if you set up a watering hole that they come to everyday, you can ensnare them that way.
