Can anyone tell me where to get help. My husband just lost his research grant and has been out of work for the last three months. I was laid off a month and a half ago. He's ineligible for unemployment and the company fought mine and recently lost. Now we are at the end of our lease and we are two and a half months behind on our rent. We can't afford to move and the landlady has raised the rent starting in Sept. By the end of the month, we have to pay the back rent and the new rent amt (all totals over $3k) or move out.

Does ANYONE have any ideas?
