I am a single parent of a fifteen-year-old son, and I am asking for assistance to pay my rent, which is 2 months overdue. The exact amount that I need is $1970.00. I just recently graduated from college, and just found a job this past week. However, since I won't be getting my first paycheck until about 4 weeks time, I am still in financial trouble. While in college, I was able to pay my bills with the college work study job I had, but once I graduated this past May, that job was no longer available. I would greatly appreciate any help. As soon as I start receiving regular paychecks again, I will be on the way to getting back on my feet financially. I just need this one-time assistance to prevent my landlord from evicting me and my son.
