I recieve a federal section 8 voucher. Every year the apartment goes through an inspection prior to lease renewal. This is the 4th year in a row that I have recieved a notice that my lease will be cancelled due to the owners failure to make repairs. What can I do regarding this issue? The owner has a $1,700.00 deposit, I'm not behind on my rent or utility payments, and due to a seizure disorder I can't drive. Making it diffucult to find proper housing. Is there help available?
