Hi- I'm actually an interior design student and I graduate in march so hopefully I can help ya out!
I think you should paint your room a color that promotes rest such as in the color family of greens and blues, or neutral colors with an accent wall of a color of your choice. I think a bedroom should be a place of rest and so colors where that keep your mind wondering such as reds, oranges, and yellows should be kept out since they promote activity. Hopefully I was able to help ya out! :)
