generally, the facing direction of your home can be determined by looking for an open space. whatever direction your bay window faces seeds like the facing direction of your apartment (because you can look out over the street/park/neighborhood,etc.). the facing of your apartment is different from the facing of the entire apartment building and the facing direction does not have to be where your front door is.
