I am a 61 year old disabled woman living in Jacksonville, FL. I am using my Housing Choice Voucher and I need to move to Pensacola, FL to be near my children because of my illness. I want to "port" my voucher to Pensacola. I have an apartment now that rents for $608. When I move will they make my voucher less in Pensacola? If I find a 2 bedroom that rents for the same as a 1 bedroom, may I take it? Since I am disabled I really need a "live in aid" and 2 bedrooms..will I have to pay more because I need 2 bedrooms because of "live in aid"?...I have just exhausted myself trying to figure all this out...does anyone know how this really works...I have studied the HUD site and found very little info on these questions. Please take a minute and help me if you can. Carole Laverty
