I lived in subsidized housing and they routinely would place black and minority tenants( I am white) in the back of the complex so that prospective tenants would not "see" them. We all were treated like 2nd class citizens - it was not section 8 either--just reasonable housing for a very high cost of living area. I am a teacher and was treated horrible, I am currently fighting them over excessive charges when I relocated. I live in Stafford, Virginia.
