I live in a complex that recently opened up some units to Section 8 tenants. Avoid these properties if you want to live in any kind of peace. Landlords seem to treat the subsidized tenants better than paying ones because they're guaranteed their rent. They're permitted to get away with a lot more infractions for that reason.
