we live in an apartment. recently I found out that the people living in the apartment down from me are breaking into the apartments around us,and the cops came to everyones door to ask if we had noticed anyone trying to come in our house, i said they probably know that i am home all day so i haven't had any problems but noticed that other's have.along with this our back sliding glass door does not lock and our landlord put a daftey bar to help but the cop said it's law to have a the doors lock anyway so since the landlords knows about the break ins and he also knows who has been doing it he said he was evicting them, well three weeks later and still no eviction,isn't there some law that since they know that they should be responsible to evict them??
