I know exactly where you're coming from, I live above an 82 year old woman who bangs on my floor (her ceiling) if I get up in the middle of the night to pee for christ's sakes!!! I talked to management about it and they said she was moving because my fiance and I are "loud". We don't party, have guests over, or make loud noises at all. We're respectful people. We live on eggshells constantly. I would suggest asking management to switch apartments if possible and stress the fact your scared you'll get evicted over exaggerated false complaints.
